This isn't a lecture you're doing the work.
Every part of this workshop is hands-on. You'll sort a real backlog into a working roadmap, negotiate tradeoffs with a partner, and leave holding a sequenced plan instead of a wish list.
Sort the real backlog
Sort a stack of real feature requests into now, next, and later the same way you'd triage a live backlog under deadline pressure, weighing customer impact, engineering cost, and strategic fit.
Sequence the timeline
Map dependencies and constraints so the roadmap reflects reality, not priority order. You'll see where "must-have first" breaks down once resourcing, technical sequencing, and hard deadlines enter the picture.
Negotiate the tradeoffs
Trade features with a partner playing a rival stakeholder until the plan holds up under real disagreement practicing the kind of negotiation that actually happens between product, engineering, and leadership.
